Janet Renee White, who went by Renee, arrived back at her office after lunch just in time to pick up the ringing telephone. But instead of “hello,” the caller heard a piercing scream. Although police arrived minutes later, Renee’s assailant had already killed her by the time they arrived. But their quick arrival meant that her killer was still on the scene…they just had to out fox him.
