Ep. 221 – The Blitz Site Murder: The Murder of Olive Balchin

In 1946, a couple of schoolboys found Olive Balchin murdered in the debris left from WWII bombings in Manchester, England. Police were convinced they had their man when they connected a convicted murderer named Walter Graham Rowland to Olive. But then another man confessed, and a similar murder cast doubt on Rowland’s guilt. Was the right man put to death?
